Episode 2: Sharon Kan

Sharon Kan has built and led multiple businesses throughout her career, with exits to companies including Microsoft, Barnes & Noble and Oracle. After developing the WIN (Women Innovating Now) Lab at Babson College, and serving as EIR (Entrepreneur in Residence) for venture firm, Accomplice, Sharon came up with a new direction for her next business endeavor. She developed Pepperlane (a platform that helps mothers start micro-businesses).

With Pepperlane, she says she is calling out the elephant in the room—motherhood—and celebrating it. In this episode, you'll hear how she herself juggled motherhood and startup life, and why she thinks tapping into the talents of mothers is a genius move.
