In our conversation, Erica shared her unconventional path to study Animal Sciences, only to leave a PhD program during her first pregnancy. She candidly discussed the challenges women face in careers as they start families, and why she started a company focused on helping moms in particular. As technology has made it easier than ever to work remotely and at all hours, Erica saw an opportunity for moms to optimize their skills for the emerging distributed, technical workforce.
